Reuben Angerhofer, formerly of Aberdeen, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, with family at his side at the Grandview Christian Home in Cambridge, MN.

Reuben was born in Brown County, South Dakota on December 27, 1919 to Alvin and Laura (Dahme) Angerhofer. He farmed with his father southwest of Aberdeen until his father's death in 1955. He and his mother continued farming until he retired in 1967 and they moved to Aberdeen. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

In 2002 he moved to Mora, Minnesota to be near relatives and resided at The Villages Assisted Living Center.

In November 2006 he moved to Cambridge and became a resident of Gandview Christian Home. Reuben enjoyed his family, bowling, fishing and playing cards.

Surviving Reuben are two sisters, Verna (William) Krause of Palatka, FL and Esther Wilson of Ogilvie, MN; three nephews, Duane (Betty) Krause of Palatka, FL, Bill (Jan) Krause of Oxnard, CA, Richard (DeRae) Wilson of Reno, NV; two nieces, Darlys Pexa of Laramie, WY and Jodi (Tom) Yotter of Ogilvie, MN; two nieces-in-law Opal Krause of Santa Maria, CA and Genelle (Brett) Collins of Colorado Springs, CO; and many great and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Daryl Wilson and two nephews, Darrel Krause and Kent Krause.

Funeral services for Reuben Angerhofer will be Saturday, February 10, 2007 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, SD. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Aberdeen.

Arrangements handled by Rock Mankie Burial and Cremation Service, Braham.
